This paper summarizes the alkali salt sludge in domestic and foreign research present situation and the comprehensive recycling of the latest research progress. For salt sludge as mixing use (building materials, chemical fertilizer, packing, adsorbent, etc.), effective purification (magnesium salt, calcium salt, barium salt, etc.) has carried on the induction, and according to production situation of chlor-alkali industry in China, for the comprehensive utilization of alkali salt sludge was looking, several suggestions are put forward.
