Chinglish%China English%Chinese-English translation
Most of us are often influenced by our mother tongue, and as a result, “Chinglish” appears, which cannot get across to native English speakers. Chinglish is neither English nor Chinese, and is caled as English with Chinese characteristics by Joan Pinkham. (2000). “Chinglish” appears in Chinese-English translation is one of the main problems affecting the quality of the translation. “Chinglish” is interlanguage in nature and it undermines the efficiency of our foreign publicity. Thus this paper wil firstly make a distinguish between China English and Chinglish, and then classify different kinds of Chinglish. Finaly, it wil offer some suggestions to avoid Chinglish.
