This paper introduces the bonding process of the metal core in rubber track and the adhesion failure was analyzed. In the ifrst step of the bonding process, the metal core was inspected, including visual inspection, dimension, bending strength and hardness. Then the metal core was treated by sandblasting, degreasing and phosphating. In the second step, the primer and adhesive were applied. The process could be brushing, manual dipping, automatic dipping, manual spraying or automatic spraying. Then rubber track was bonded to metal core and the rubber track was vulcanized. To effectively minimize the adhesion failure, it was recommended to use suitable adhesive, rubber compound formulation, sandblasting process, adhesive application process and vulcanization process.
