The features of detection parameters such as voltage and current variation, arc sound signal, and electromagnetic and light radiation signal in present low voltage series DC arc detection methods were summarized. The characteristic and limitation of threshold methods and pattern recognition methods based on single parameter were analyzed, and the research prospect of information fusion method based on multiple parameters was proposed.
