失地农民是城镇化进程中迅速催生的特殊弱势群体，快速城镇化导致的失地农民问题引起社会各界的广泛关注。公共体育服务是公共服务的重要内容之一，能丰富失地农民的精神文化生活，帮助失地农民市民化及维护社会稳定。为此，运用 SWOT 分析法分析了失地农民体育参与的优势和劣势、机遇和挑战，进而从政府、社区和失地农民三个层面提出具有针对性的建议，期望提高失地农民的体育参与水平。

The Chinese Urbanization has produced a new disadvantaged group of people---the farmers that are stripped of their land.The problem arising from the fast urbanization has attracted wide concern from all walks of life.The public sports service,as the important part of the public service,can enrich the cultural life of the landless people and help them gain accept-ance in the city and maintain social stability.A SWOT analysis is made of the landless farmers from aspects like the advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges faced with their participation in sports in hope of finding some pointed counter-measures to prompt still greater participation.
