A series of ideal samples with uniform pore diameter, porosity and pore composition are prepared by a “tube to pore“ method. Based on the measurement of their sound absorption properties, the relationships between the absorption coefficient of the cement-based porous materials and their pore diameter, pore composition or porosity are studied.
