Taking the pile cap of China Expo Exhibition Center as an example, the specific temperature controlling measures of massive concrete construction are discussed. A numerical model is established according to the plane strain theory, and the temperature and stress field of pile cap are simulated and analyzed by finite element. In addition, the inter-nal temperature of large pile cap concrete is measured and the results are analyzed.
