肝脾肾足三阴亏虚是糖尿病从危险因素到并发症的整体病机概括，肝脾肾同调理论是治疗糖尿病的有效模型，该理论指导下以金匮肾气丸类方为代表的方剂在糖尿病前期干预中具有调整整体代谢、恢复血糖平衡的作用，联合小剂量促胰岛素分泌药物能有效适用于早期糖尿病血糖漂移控制不佳者，临证可结合中医气虚、阴虚为本，热、痰、瘀夹杂的病理特点具体方证辨治。
