Yuezhi in The History of the Ming Dynasty%sources of material%writer%process
《明史·乐志》的史料来源主要是《明实录》与《大明会典》。康熙朝,负责分纂《明史·乐志》者,可能是黄与坚。以傅维鳞《明书·乐律志》为先导,《明史·乐志》的纂修经历了万斯同《明史·乐志》、王鸿绪《明史稿·乐志》和张廷玉《明史·乐志》三个阶段。由傅书至万稿,为一变;由万稿至王稿,亦为一变;由王稿至张史,则为润色阶段。张本《乐志》文字仍不无遗憾之处。在《乐志》中,隆庆之前记述较详,而万历至崇祯所载史迹甚略,亦自有其原因。

《명사·악지》적사료래원주요시《명실록》여《대명회전》。강희조,부책분찬《명사·악지》자,가능시황여견。이부유린《명서·악률지》위선도,《명사·악지》적찬수경력료만사동《명사·악지》、왕홍서《명사고·악지》화장정옥《명사·악지》삼개계단。유부서지만고,위일변;유만고지왕고,역위일변;유왕고지장사,칙위윤색계단。장본《악지》문자잉불무유감지처。재《악지》중,륭경지전기술교상,이만력지숭정소재사적심략,역자유기원인。
The main sources of Yuezhi in the History of the Ming Dynasty are Ming Shi Lu and Da Ming Hui Dian. It may be Huang Yujian who was responsible for the writing of Yuezhi in Kangxi Dynasty. There were three stages include Fu Weilin’s Yuelv zhi in Ming Book, Wan Sitong’s Yuezhi in The History of the Ming Dynasty, and Zhang Tingyu’s version. The first two stages were variable, however the last only has some polish. There are still some shortcomings in Zhang Tingyu’s version. In Yuezhi, the account before Longqing was more detailed than Wanli etc. This also had its own reasons.
