迟子建的小说创作始终扎根于富于生命力的日常生活,这使得那些平凡人的生活被推到小说舞台的聚光灯下,并且日常的琐碎与生动消融了僵硬理性带来的规训力量。生命之痛在迟子建的小说中绵密而刺目地存在着,但她利用出色的“控制”,用希望和光明稀释了这些令人窒息的伤痛,这种朴素自然的苦难叙事在20世纪文学史中独树一帜。在迟子建小说中存在着诸多如放河灯、洗澡、葬礼、渔汛等仪式的描写,这是东北地域文化影响的结果。仪式承载着象征的功能,具有修辞意义,不仅表达了人们在社会生活中的经验、情感,而且还包含了迟子建对于死亡及文化的独特理解和思考。

Chi Zijian’s novel creation is rooted in daily life ,which makes the lives of ordinary people is pushed to the novel stage spotlight .The daily life is full of vivid vitality and the trifles ,which not only dismembers the streamline of life ,but melts the stiffness of discipline power of reason .The pain of life in the novels of Chi Zijian is startling and existing harshly .Chi Zijian used her excellent “control” ,with hope and light to dilute the suffocating pain .This simple and natural suffering narrative is unique and outstand‐ing in the 20th literature century .In Chi Zijian’s novel ,there are many ceremonies such as burning river light ,taking a shower ,having funeral and catching season ,which results from the northeast regional cul‐ture influence .These rituals are bearing the weight of the function of symbol and rhetorical significance , which not only expresses people’s emotional experience in social life ,but also contains the unique cultural understanding and thinking of death .
