This paper aims at studying how to make use of high‐definition cameras ,high‐performance servers and storage devices to build a Metro Region Intelligent Traffic Management System which has functions of monitoring intersection ve‐hicles and disposing traffic peccancy .Amid the research ,focuses are on mass data processing and system structuring and optimizing as well as on exposition of their principles in order to provide a more feasible development and deployment solu‐tion for the current intelligent transportation industry .
