近代中国的苏维埃革命运动，席卷了南方省份的大部分产纸区域。革命运动与近代纸业的历史关联，以处于革命漩涡中心的赣闽两省为例，可从以下方面予以阐释：一是两者在地域上的高度重合，虽不可避免地对纸业工人参与革命运动产生刺激或诱导作用，但总体上这种革命参与现象并不普遍；二是注重宣传的中共组织对纸的大量需求，不但促使革命区域的纸业生产在战争状态下仍然得到一定程度的恢复，而且突出地反映了中共以革命知识的生产和传播为特质的政治模式。

The Soviet revoLutionary movement in modern China had invoLved most of paper production areas in Southern provinces. Taking Uiangxi and Fujian Provinces in the revoLutionary center as an exampLe,we can interpret the historicaL reLationship between the revoLutionary movement and the modern paper industry as foLLows:on one hand,they were highLy coincident geographicaLLy,the revo-Lutionary movement had a stimuLating or inducting effect on paper industry workers,which is totaLLy inevitabLe. However,the phenomenon of participation in the revoLutionary movement was not com-mon. On the other hand,the Chinese Communist Party organizations,which paid attention to pubLici-ty,had Large demand for paper,which not onLy urged the paper production in revoLution areas to re-store in certain degree under the state of war,but aLso refLected prominentLy the poLiticaL modeL of the Chinese Communist Party,whose trait is knowLedge production and spreading.
