Development of web -based courses serves as an essential part in the reform of higher education.The teachers of Department of Anesthesiology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University Health Science Center,established an anesthesiology teaching website based on the university's campus web.It is an important means to reform the traditional model of anesthesiology teaching,enrich the teaching content and improve teaching quality.The paper discusses the necessity,design and development,construction and function,and teaching effectiveness of the website.
