This paper first introduces the connotation and characteristics of the flipped classroom. Then it discusses the application of the flipped classroom in local institutions of higher education regarding its feasibility,implementation process and precautions.The paper points out that this teaching model can help improve the quality of education of colleges and universities and produce outstanding talents.
