This paper introduces the basic concept of form composition. According to the form composition elements, the form composition characteristics of bamboo products are analyzed. By comparing, linear bamboo material is more suitable for the bamboo products material design features. According to the trend of individualized product demands in modern society, the article puts forward the preliminary ideas of using the traditional bamboo technology for the application of bamboo in the modern product design.
