Action research is the main mode of self -reflection teaching in education and teaching field and it has become an hot topic in foreign language teaching and research field while playing an important role in foreign language teaching.This pa-per explores and analyzes the application of paraphrasing in Comprehensive English combining with the related meaning and concept of action research in order to ensure the effectiveness and quality of teaching.
