西方现代艺术设计教育已有百年历史，积累了丰富的教育经验，而中国的艺术设计教育资历尚浅，仍需要向西方借鉴学习。本文介绍了以英国为代表的西方现代艺术设计教育的先进方面，即人才培养目标的定位、教学模式及教学方法、考核评价系统等，同时分析了我国艺术设计教育现状，并指出了存在的问题，以此为抓手深化我国艺术设计教育的改革。

Modern art design education in the western countries, which has accumulated a wealth of experience, has a history of a hundred years. While Chinese art and design education has a short history, it stil needs to learn from the Western experience as reference. This article describes the advanced aspects of British which act as the representative of western modern art design education, such as the position of talent training goal, teaching mode and teaching methods, evaluation systems, etc. It points out the existing problem by analyzing the situation of the art design education in our country,in order to deepen the reform of Chinese art design high education.
