教学评价是教学活动的重要组成部分。在新的课程改革背景下，新的教学方式相应的要求评价方式的创新和转变，评价策略的转变和新的评价方式的使用也是保证教学活动和课程改革顺利进行的关键。它们在根本上是相互影响、相互制约的。任务型教学在英语课程标准中得到了广泛的提倡，在实际的英语教学中也不断的得到应用，然而却似乎总是存在一个瓶颈制约着它优势的完全发挥，那就是旧的评价观念影响下的评价方式。很显然，那种单一、传统、终结性的纸笔考试已经无法适应新形势的需求，因此，必须转变评价策略，寻求新的评价方式。

Teaching assessment is an important part of teaching.Under the background of new curriculum reform,the new teaching methods require the innovation and transformation of the teaching assessment.The transformation of assessment strate-gies and implement of the new assessment methods is the guarantee of teaching activities and curriculum reform.They are fun-damentally influence each other,restrict each other.Task -based teaching has been widely advocated in the English curricu-lum standard and applied in actual English teaching.However,there is always a bottleneck restricts its advantages,that is the evaluation methods influenced by the outdated concept of evaluation.Obviously,a single,traditional,summative paper and pencil test have been unable to meet the requirement of the new situation.Therefore,teachers must change the assessment strategies and seek new teaching methods.
