The paper describes an evolution from She to Sheshipei and from Sheshipei to Banzhi and mainly discusses the difference between the exterior shape and the function. This type of implements which were originaly used for wars altered from practical products to decorations, resulting from the evolution of history, policy, and military, the development of material arts and the change of culture. By analyzing these factors mentioned above, the paper studies the reasons of the shape evolution from She to Banzhi.
