研究高斯混合模型法在交通监控视频运动车辆自动提取中的应用。对高斯混合模型模型法的原理和参数设定进行了分析，利用 MATLAB 编程实现道路监控视频中运动车辆的自动提取。实验结果表明编程实现的高斯混合模型法能够较准确地提取出运动车辆。研究工作为高斯混合模型法的参数设定提供了理论分析，能够促进其在交通监控智能化中的应用，为下一步进行车辆的识别与跟踪打下基础。

The application of adaptive mixture models of Gaussians in the extraction of cars in the traffic surveillance videos is studied in this paper. First, some theoretical analyses of the mixture models of Gaussians and setting parameters are given. Then, the moving cars in the surveillance videos are extracted by programming in MATLAB. The experimental results indicate that the adaptive mixture models of Gaussians can accurately extract the moving cars. This paper provides theoretical analyses for setting parameters. It will promote the application of the adaptive background mixture models of Gaussians in the intelligent traffic monitoring system and lay the foundation for cars’ recognition and tracking.
