针对?化工原理?传统课堂和实践教学模式存在的局限和问题，以开展化工设计竞赛为手段，以培养学生实践能力、创新能力和团队精神，提高教师专业素质为目的，从化工原理课堂教学、实验教学和课程设计教学三个方面入手，进行化工设计竞赛反哺化工原理教学改革的探索与实践。结果表明，这种学科竞赛反哺教学的改革初步取得了良好的教学效果。但同时也发现了不足之处，并提出了相应的改进方案。
침대?화공원리?전통과당화실천교학모식존재적국한화문제，이개전화공설계경새위수단，이배양학생실천능력、창신능력화단대정신，제고교사전업소질위목적，종화공원리과당교학、실험교학화과정설계교학삼개방면입수，진행화공설계경새반포화공원리교학개혁적탐색여실천。결과표명，저충학과경새반포교학적개혁초보취득료량호적교학효과。단동시야발현료불족지처，병제출료상응적개진방안。
As for the problems and limitations of traditional classroom and practice teaching model of Chem-ical Engineering Principles,we chose chemical engineering design competition as our means,from three aspects--- classroom teaching,experiment and course design--- conducted the teaching reform of Chemical En-gineering Principles,aiming at the training of students’practical ability,innovation ability and team spirit,and the promoting of teachers’professional quality.The results indicated that this teaching model rewarded by aca-demic competition have obtained good effect of teaching reform.However,the shortcomings of this teaching re-form were also discovered,and the improving plans had been put forwarded.
