高迁移率族蛋白A（ HMGA）家族包含4种蛋白，HMGA2是其中的一员。 HMGA2可以促进上皮间质转化，可以维持干细胞的分化潜能及自我更新能力，并能以多种机制参与多个生物事件的调节过程。近年来国内外学者均证实HMGA2在多种肿瘤细胞中高表达，并与恶性肿瘤的发生、发展有着重要的联系。本文就HMGA2在恶性肿瘤中的最新研究进展作一综述。

The high mobility group protein A( HMGA) family is composed of four proteins. HMGA2 is one of the family. HM?GA2 involves in epithelial?mesenchymal transition, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the differentiation potential and the self?re?newal of neural stem cells(NSCs).HMGA2 is able to process a number of different mechanisms involved in the regulation of biological events. Overexpression of HMGA2 has been observed in a variety of malignant tumors and often correlates with poor prognosis. In this review, we summarize the latest progresses on HMGA2 in cancer.
