以我国4所医学院校临床医学专业的学生为研究对象,采用按照年级分层抽样的方法,选取大一到大五年级的1861名医学生进行问卷调研。研究结果显示:医学生批判性思维能力总平均分为285.16分,整体表现为正性批判性思维,除寻找真相和系统化能力表现为负性外,其余维度均表现为正性;一般自我效能感总分平均为25.90分;不同学校、年级、性别和年龄医学生的批判性思维有差异;正性批判性思维能力者的一般自我效能感均高于负性者。因此,医学生批判性思维能力与一般自我效能感呈正相关,提高医学生的一般自我效能感对批判性思维能力的提高具有促进作用。

Objective: This study explores the correlation between critical thinking and general self-efficacy among medical students, in a bid to seek measures for the improvement of their critical thinking ability. Methods:Multistage Stratified Cluster Sampling is employed as the sampling method and 1861 medical students are recruited in five different years of training, gathered from three different medical schools in China. Results: The mean CTDI-CV score of the total population of 1861 students is 285.16, which implies that these students have a positive disposition towards critical thinking as a whole. The five subscales also display positive disposition except"truth seeking" and "systematicity". The mean score of general self-efficacy scale is 25.9. Statistically significant differences are found between schools, years of school attended, gender and age (p<0.001). The second-year students get the highest CTDI-CV score, while the fifth-year students get the lowest score. In general, the critical thinking ability of medical students is on the decline with the increase in years of school attended. Students with positive critical thinking ability get higher score of general self-efficacy than those with negative critical thinking ability. Conclusion: A positive correlation is found between medical students' critical thinking ability and their general self-efficacy, which implies that medical students' critical thinking ability could be enhanced by improving their general self-efficacy.
