1996年2月3日，云南丽江地区发生7．0级里氏地震，地震震垮了丽江各族人民的家园，也成就了丽江“浴火重生”的神话。地震后的丽江，政府抓住地震恢复重建的机遇，以巨额重建投资资金，升级改造产业结构，集中力量发展旅游业，将丽江推上社会经济发展的快车道。
1996年2月3日，雲南麗江地區髮生7．0級裏氏地震，地震震垮瞭麗江各族人民的傢園，也成就瞭麗江“浴火重生”的神話。地震後的麗江，政府抓住地震恢複重建的機遇，以巨額重建投資資金，升級改造產業結構，集中力量髮展旅遊業，將麗江推上社會經濟髮展的快車道。
1996년2월3일，운남려강지구발생7．0급리씨지진，지진진과료려강각족인민적가완，야성취료려강“욕화중생”적신화。지진후적려강，정부조주지진회복중건적궤우，이거액중건투자자금，승급개조산업결구，집중역량발전여유업，장려강추상사회경제발전적쾌차도。
On February 3,1996,a magnitude 7.0 earthquake occurred in Lijiang,a city in Yunnan province.It collapsed the local people′s homes,but it also made the miracle of Lijiang′s new birth.After the earthquake,with a huge of amount of money,Lijiang gov-ernment caught the opportunity for restoration and reconstruction to finish the transformation of the industrial structure for the city and develop tourist industry,and push the rapid local economic development.
