孟子作为有名的儒家学派代表人物，不仅进一步完善和发展了孔子学说，也为后世留下了无数的思想瑰宝，“仁政”则是其文化遗产的重要组成部分。孟子在著述中多次提出，人民的拥护是维护君主统治、实现天下统一的核心保障，而实行“仁政”必定有利于民心的归顺。“仁政”学说的基础是“性善论”，核心是“民本”，举措的主要对象是百姓和臣子，这些在根本上将人民的地位提升到一个前所未有的高度。

Among them,“Policy of benevolence”is one of the most instructive and important parts of Mencius’s thoughts.From Mencius’s perspective,? satisfaction of people? is the key to maintain monarchy and realize unification.Implementation of benevolent policy,therefore,is beneficial to attract people’s allegiance.Based on“theory of original goodness of human nature”,benevolent policy regards “people- oriented management”as its main idea, which? possesses capability to? enhance people’s status to an unprecedented level.? Mencius’s thoughts have played a signifi-cant role in Chinese history and could become even more? influential in the future.
