为了研究在高等教育大众化阶段普通本科院校文科数学素质教育的有关实际问题，开设了《大学文科数学》和《简明概率统计》实验课程，并采用问卷调查等方法，对学生选课原因、听课状态、教学效果等问题进行了量化研究。在此基础上，提出了高等教育大众化阶段普通本科院校实施文科数学素质教育在教学计划、教学内容、教学目标、教学过程、教学方法、教学要求、教学形式、教学评价等方面的基本对策。

In order to study some practical issues related to mathematics for liberal arts students in higher education nowadays,the research group sets up two experimental courses of College Mathematics for Liberal Arts Students and Concise Probability Statistics .In the quantitative research,questionnaires are used to collect the information involving reasons of selecting these two courses,state in class,teaching results,etc.On the basis of these researches,the paper offers some basic strategies in terms of teaching pro-gram,teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching methods,teaching requirements, teaching forms,teaching evaluation,and so on.
