中日两国关系源远流长，但是其文化也有各自的特点，在对生死观的理解上是不尽相同的。通过比较电影《红高粱》和《挪威的森林》，分析了中国理性、实用的生死观与日本“惜生崇死”的生死观，从而更好地理解两个民族的文化差异。

The Sino-Japanese relations are time-honored and well-established,but their cultures have the characteristics of their own.Their understanding of view of life and death are not completely the same. Based on the comparison between Red Sorghum and Norwegian Forest ,the paper analyzes the Chinese people’s rationality and pragmaticism and the Japanese people’s cherishing life and worshiping death in view of life and death.
