To explore the genuineness of Citrus grandis‘Tomentosa’, a popular traditional Chinese medical herb, the influence of environments and species factor on total flavonoids and naringin contents was reviewed. A‘Geo-Pedo-Plant elements fingerprint’ provides a way to research the environments and genetics interaction to Citrus grandis‘Tomentosa’. The researches may provide references for the further development of identification, cultivation, fertilization, quality control for Citrus grandis‘Tomentosa’.
