The aritcle introduces several alternaitves of transportaiton fuel oil consumpiton-end such as natural gas, alcohol ether fuel and battery, which are analyzed and compared from the following aspects:energy source, en-ergy conversion effciency, fuel cost, environmental proteciton, technology and mature degree of distribuiton system. It is proposed that Sinopec should acitvely cope with the impact of fuel oil subsittuiton, implement transformaiton development and culitvate new beneift growth points, then concrete suggesitons is put forward combining with the actual situaiton of the company.
