Geographic position, water level and water features of Chagan Lake are introduced briefly. Variation trend of COD, phosphate, total nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, pH and transparency are analyzed. Rich camp oxidation tendency of Chagan Lake are analyzed from the water body status and influence factor of eutrophication. Eutrophication degree of Chagan Lake has trended down over the past years, now is in upper level and will maintain this state over a long period of time.
