日本《幼儿园教育要领》和《保育所保育指针》规定了五个领域,要求幼儿园和保育所等按照五个领域开展保育工作、指导婴幼儿的具体活动。按照五个领域对复杂的保育内容进行分类和整理,可以为保育计划的制定提供参考。同时,五个领域对指导孩子游戏、分析和评价孩子的成长发育状况也能够提供帮助。保育机构不能将五个领域严格区分开来,因为孩子具体的游戏和生活基本上都是跨领域的不断重复的活动。保育工作最基本的原则是符合婴幼儿时期孩子的生活、重视孩子的“主体性”和“自发性”。

There are five areas which are stipulated in Japanese “Kindergarten Education Essentials" and "Nursery Childcare Guide-lines”, according to which kindergarten and nursery school are required to carry out some specific activities of childcare work and guiding infants. In accordance with the five areas, the complex childcare contents are given classification and sorting in order to provide a refer-ence for the formulation of childcare plan. At the same time, the five areas could guide the child's frolic, as well as to help the analysis and evaluation of the child’ s growth and development status. Childcare organizations can't separate five areas strictly because the child’ s specific frolic and life are interdisciplinary repetitive activities. The basic principle of childcare is to meet the child and infant living period, and to pay attention to the child’ s “subjectivity” and “spontaneity”.
