Generator Circuit Breakers(GCB) are significant in the power system ,So they are crucial for its maintenance .Without open the arc quenching chamber of GCB ,combined with Breaking coefficient and Dynamic Resistance Measurement (DRM ) is intro‐duced in this paper for assessing the remaining electrical life of GCB .It helps develop scientific and reasonable overhaul plan .
