Based on an investigation of the current situation of ecological construction-oriented development of Luotian county in Hubei province, the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats in the development of the county with ecological construction as center are analyzed by using the SWOT analysis method,and the countermeasures and suggestions for build-ing a platform for the development of Luotian county with ecological construction as center are put forward.
