国内地矿经济在经历了一波高潮发展之后，随着全球经济的低迷运行，又进入到一个深度调整期。国有地勘单位的发展也随着地矿经济的转冷而显露出众多困难和问题。面对重重外部困境和诸多内部弊病，国有地勘单位应增强改革的紧迫性和主动性，更加紧密地与国民经济和社会发展相结合，从准确把握自身核心竞争力、牢牢立足地勘主业和做精做深地矿产业、抓好自有矿权经营运作工作、积极拓宽地质服务领域、科学有效地实施“走出去”战略、建立健全内部激励机制、着力提高经营管理水平等多个方面练好内功，以此走出困境，在逆境中求得生存、在顺境中求得发展。

After a developmental climax, domestic mining economy has entered a depth adjustment as the global economic downturn. Following this situation, the development of state-owned geological exploration units has revealed many dififculties and problems. Faced up to all external dilemma and many internal problems, this paper proposes that the state-owned geological exploration units should enhance the urgency and initiative of the reform,and more closely combine with the national economic and social development. Meanwhile, they should lay emphasis on the following: accurately grasping their own core competitiveness, keeping a foothold ifrmly on the main business of geological exploration, making geological industry perfect and strongest, managing well the operation of their own mining rights, expanding the geological services, scientiifcally and effectively implementing the strategy of “going out”, establishing and improving the internal incentive mechanism, striving to raise operational management level. Only then can they break through the dilemma,survive in the face of adversity, and seek development in good times.
