This paper introduced the fire characteristic of large-span buildings,combining with the characteristics of large-span steel structure it-self,analyzed the carrying critical temperature and fire resisting limit of steel structure stability in fire,put forward that we should take a variety of technical means,made science performance fire resistance design of large span steel structure buildings,so as to ensure the fire safety of large-span steel structure buildings.
