动物是文学作品中常见的意象。莎士比亚通过修辞手段在其戏剧中使用了数量可观的动物意象。基于前人研究，本文尝试从隐喻认知视角解读分析莎剧的动物比喻。研究发现，莎剧的动物比喻有明喻、暗喻及借喻三种；按比喻的本体划分，可以分为以人为本体的比喻和以事物为本体的比喻。本文从概念隐喻理论视角，对动物比喻的认知机制和认知功能进行了探究。

동물시문학작품중상견적의상。사사비아통과수사수단재기희극중사용료수량가관적동물의상。기우전인연구，본문상시종은유인지시각해독분석사극적동물비유。연구발현，사극적동물비유유명유、암유급차유삼충；안비유적본체화분，가이분위이인위본체적비유화이사물위본체적비유。본문종개념은유이론시각，대동물비유적인지궤제화인지공능진행료탐구。
Animals are widely used in literary works.Shakespeare uses a large number of animal images in his plays,by means of rhetorical devices.Based on the previous studies,the present paper analyses all the fig-ures of speech involving animals from the perspective of conceptual metaphor.The study shows that these figures of speech include simile,metaphor and metonymy.Divided in accordance with the figure of speech itself,there are two sorts of figure of speech:with humans and with things as the tenor respectively.Finally,based on the theory on conceptual metaphors,this paper conducts a probe into the cognitive mechanism and cognitive func-tions of these animal metaphors.
