A portable XLPE cable partial discharge detection device using electromagnetic coupling,UHF electromagnetic wave and acoustic emission to detect partial discharge signals in power cables is introduced.By analyzing the partial discharge signals,the insulation status of XLPE power cables is judged.The detection device can achieve the discharge test or long-term monitoring for cable in operation,can effectivelyfind partial discharge defect.the anti-interference ability of detection device should be further improved in practical application.
