“以信证道”是道教培育传统社会核心价值观“孝”的主要方式，集中体现在：以“长寿成仙”的信念证成孝德的合理性，以“至诚动天”的信念保证孝心的纯洁性，以“神佑鬼惩”的信念保障孝行的实践性，不仅在历史上有力地促进了“孝”的认同与践行，对于当前社会发挥信念伦理在社会主义核心价值观培育中的价值亦具有启示意义。
“이신증도”시도교배육전통사회핵심개치관“효”적주요방식，집중체현재：이“장수성선”적신념증성효덕적합이성，이“지성동천”적신념보증효심적순길성，이“신우귀징”적신념보장효행적실천성，불부재역사상유력지촉진료“효”적인동여천행，대우당전사회발휘신념윤리재사회주의핵심개치관배육중적개치역구유계시의의。
" Belief as mark of Tao" is the Taoists' principal way to developing" filial piety" , a core value in traditional Chinese society. It took the belief of " long-life as basis of god" to justify filial piety, the belief of " Heaven-moving deep sincerity" to guarantee pure piety, and the belief of " god blessing and ghost revenge" to promote its practices . The Taoist approach effectively promoted the reception and practice of " filial piety" in Chinese history, and it is inspiring for use of belief in our development of socialist core values.
