在社会变革、利益关系调整、各种文化激荡的条件下，绝大多数高校党员干部努力工作，为学校的发展，教育事业的前进谋大计。但是也有极少数高校党员干部面对现今社会上物质、金钱、美女的诱惑，思想上抵制各种腐朽诱惑的定力不强，贪念滋生，凭借手中的权力，以权谋私；政治意识不强，工作缺乏原则性；贪图享乐，生活作风奢侈腐化。因此，采取切实有效的方式来引正高校党员干部利益观势在必行。以思想建设为根本、以党性教育为核心、以道德建设为基础是行之有效的方式。
