Process control is a required professional basic course for the students majored in automation, which has relatively strong characteristics in theory, application and practice. According to the characteristics of the course, this paper aims to study on the teaching reform of process control, including teaching content, teaching method and means, experiment teaching and so on. The practical teaching results shows that the reformed teaching mode can arouse the students’enthusiasm and initiative, and achieve better teaching effects.
