Through the numerical simulation of velocity of the 100 LD converter jet by the software Fluent, the velocity along the axis of the coherent jet of the supersonic jet was simulated.Fluid dynam-ics of gas and liquid interactions in a LD converter was mathematically simulated.The penetration and dimension of the molten liquid impacted by the oxygen stream were studied, and this is helpful to the practice of the steelmaking.
