介绍了一种利用光的衍射原理测量金属线胀系数的新方法。利用两个刀片构成一活动狭缝。其中一刀片固定在铁架台支架上,另一刀片间接固定在金属棒上,当金属棒受热膨胀时,活动狭缝变小。在激光照射下,形成单缝衍射条纹的宽度发生变化,通过测量条纹的变化计算出金属丝的伸长量。

In this paper,we proposed a new method for measuring metal linear expansion coefficient based on the principle of single slit diffraction of light. By using the two blades to make a slit,one blade is fixed on the hob,the other is fixed on the metal bar indirectly. Activity slit width becomes smaller when the metal bar heated to be expanded. And the diffraction fringe width changes when the laser passes through the slit. The elongation of metal bar can be calculated by measuring fringe change.
