The development of a hospital is necessarily associated with its level of rational drug use. The paper introduces how Peking University Third Hospital makes its whole medication process permeated with the idea of rational drug use through utilizing modern management tools and adopting the mechanism of intervention in advance and evaluation afterwards, by which the hospital enhances the efifciency of rational drug use control, gives play to the initiative of clinical pharmacists and physicians, and achieves continuous improvement and promotion of the level of rational drug use.
