Integrating social health insurance systems is the future direction in the development of social health insurance reform. This paper summarizes the experience and practices in the process of integrating social health insurance systems in cities of Dongguan, Zhongshan and Zhuhai. Based on these, this paper indicates three key issues that we must deal with in integrating social health insurance systems.
