The authors introduce the fuel system structure and common failure modes of the dimethyl ether buses. They also determine the top event, middle event and bottom event, and their relations. They not only establish the fault tree of the fuel system, but also analyse the fault's phenomena, causes and elimination methods. And then they put forward the countermeasures to prevent fuel system failure.
