零件特征信息的获取是机械设计工作的重要内容，涵盖零件所具备的基本设计信息。基于 UG5.0开发平台，通过运用 UG／Open API 技术，对实现 UG 轴类零件的特征输出内容进行开发与研究。主要通过注册环境变量，添加 UG 程序菜单，利用 VC ＋＋6.0进行 Open API 程序的编写与函数调用，从而实现 UG 环境下程序与机械零件的动态链接，最终完成了轴类零件的特征输出工作，并在对话框中进行了特征输出与显示。测试结果表明：所开发的程序同样适用于不同 UG 零件的特征输出与显示。

Obtaining part’s feature information is an important content of machine design work,which covers the basic design informa-tion of machine parts.Now based on UG5.0 development platform,through the use of UG/Open API technology,development and re-search work have been done for the feature information output of the UG shaft parts.By registering environment variables,adding the UG application menu,using VC ++6.0 for programming and calling Open API functions,the dynamic link library has been linked with the machine part,and finally the feature information output of shaft parts has been completed,with the output and display in the dialog done.Test results show that the developed program is also applicable to the output and display of different UG parts.
