This paper system analyzed the basic characteristics and formation mechanism of Zhengchong landslide, and analysis its stability. Through the computing stability coefficient of landslide and field investigation indicate that, the landslide is in the unstable state. Combined with the actual situation of the landslide put forward effec-tive prevention and control measures.
