It was focused on the research progress of parthenocarpic history and current situation, including the parthenocarpy molecular mechanisms and related genes, the development of identification methods. The specific effects of auxin on parthenocarpic fruit development were discussed and a further outlook from the aux-in response pathway and other related gene were presented.
