Flue gas from coal-based industrial boilers contains large amounts of sulfur, nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide and other gases, particularly in chemical companies. Emission of these gases into the atmosphere will seriously pollute the atmosphere to bring human life great harm. In this paper, main hazards of these gases were described, several effective methods to reduce SO2, CO2 emission were put forward, and ways of flue gas waste heat recovery were discussed.
