The preparation processes of cellulose were summarized, such as solid fermentation, liquid fermentation, solid-liquid alternate new fermentation, the immobilized cell technology and mixed fermentation. And technological process flows, influence factors, advantages and disadvantages of each process were discussed. And development trend of the cellulose preparation process was analyzed. At last, commercial production status and main producers of cellulose were introduced.
